Zest Finance

Zest Finance is a diversified liquid staking solution that offers a range of benefits to users seeking to maximize the potential of their staked assets. It allows users to stake their ETH and earn staking rewards and swap fees, all encapsulated within a single ERC-20 token. Zest Finance functions as an Omnichain token, existing on both the ETH Mainnet and BNB Chain, enabling seamless and cost-free transfers across chains.

To mint Zest , users can deposit supported liquid staking tokens (LST or LSD), and they have the option to redeem Zest into the underlying basket of LSDs. Currently, Zest Finance supports 6 LSDs, with plans for future expansion.

Valuing Zest Finance

The value of Zest Finance is directly tied to the amount of staked ETH underlying the LSDs. For example, 1 ETH worth of any of the LSDs corresponds to 1 Zest token.

As the underlying LSDs accrue staking yield, the value of Zest also increases. If the average annual ETH staking yield is 5%, after 1 year, 1 Zest Token would be equivalent to 1.05 ETH.

Valuing Zest Finance APR

Zest Finance serves as a liquidity hub for LSDs, allowing users to swap between different LSDs based on their maximum weight allocation. By holding Zest, users can earn ETH staking yield, swap fees, and additional incentives through farming opportunities.

Zest token can be utilized across various DeFi protocols by providing liquidity on Ethereum or bridging it to the BNB Chain for participation in Binance Smart Chain's DeFi ecosystem.

Configurable target weight and risk caps

The configurable target weights and risk caps of Zest Finance provide a mechanism to manage risk exposure and mitigate potential unfavorable outcomes for individual LSD tokens. The protocol has undergone audits by Certik and Paladin, ensuring a secure and reliable platform for users.
